Shaun Skelton PhD, Managing Director, is an experienced international development professional who has worked in 35 countries over the past 35 years. He has held senior management posts for Oxfam, Mercy Corps, DFID, UMCOR, American Refugee Committee, Visions in Action, and has been a consultant to USAID and UNICEF. He managed large multi-million dollar agricultural development programs in Liberia for USDA, in DRCongo for U.S. OFDA and USAID, and in Rwanda for the Africa Development Corps. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Stanford and a PhD in International Development Management from George Washington University. He has lived and worked in Uganda over the past seven years.
Felix Patasse, Mukono Farm Manager, hails from Mbarara, where he graduated from secondary school, then studied agriculture at Bukalasa College for two years in Luwero, where he received his associate degree. After college he managed the Nkozi farm in Kiboga district for two years. He has eight years of practical agricultural experience and has worked with this farm from its start two years ago. He lives in Golomolo, Mukono district and manages the farm daily.
Denis Mugisa, Marketing Manager, is originally from Hoima, and graduated from Uganda Christian University in Mukono in Business Administration. His family owns a productive farm in Hoima district, and has many years of experience working on the farm as a youth. He has eight years of experience in marketing and working with NGOs in Uganda, including program management and monitoring & evaluation.
